Requirements:

• BSc in any related field; MSc in Finance, MBA or relevant certification is an advantage.
• At least 8 years professional experience in Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Corporate Finance.
• Minimum of 4 years' track record in raising capital and executing financing transactions in Debt Capital Markets.
• Experience as an Investment Banking/Corporate Finance Analyst or Associate.
• Strong Corporate Finance knowledge, project management skills, and financial services focus.
• Experience in executing Capital Markets (Debt or Equity) transactions, M&A advisory, and Project Finance.
• Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of Capital Markets, the economy, and general financial markets.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive debt capital raising strategies aligned with business objectives and expansion plans in Zambia.
• Ensure that the FairMoney Zambia loan book has adequate capital markets debt funding by managing private debt issuances, bi-lateral loans, and public debt funding.
• Manage all debt fundraising processes, coordinating with solicitors, financial advisers, and other relevant parties.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and risks.
• Develop a pipeline and network of debt investors, managing relationships to encourage investments.
• Create innovative funding structures and identify strategic partnership opportunities.
• Prepare presentations and capital market documents for conversations with potential investors.
