Requirements:
  • No issues making cold calls. Unafraid of rejection and enjoys overcoming objections.
  • Energetic with an upbeat attitude.
  • Empathetic, with a knack for connecting with people and understanding customer pain points.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset; willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to ask clarifying questions.
  • Experience in an education organization focused in the K-12 space.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ), hustle, a can-do attitude, and intrinsic motivation to surpass goals.
  • Computer savvy with business basics (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn new software.

Responsibilities:
  • The sales development representative’s primary role is to focus on outreach, prospecting, and lead qualification of schools, districts, and charter networks.
  • The SDR will connect with as many leads as possible and determine if they’re good customer fits.
  • The SDR will move leads through the sales pipeline while learning about a potential school leader’s instructional needs.
  • If a prospect is a good fit, the SDR will schedule a next step with account executives in the organization.
  • In addition, the SDR will educate, answer questions, and send resources to potential customers.
