Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance management role.
  • Focus on employment and labor laws, business laws, and contract review.
  • Previous team management experience.
  • Advanced fluency in English and Chinese.
  • Proven experience in drafting and reviewing contracts.
  • Ability to navigate and interpret complex legal documents and provide clear, actionable advice to stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess compliance risks.
  • Proactive approach to staying informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders to drive compliance initiatives.
  • Previous experience working remotely is a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment and contract laws in the regions needed.
  • Draft and review contracts for clients and vendors, ensuring legal accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct internal audits and assessments to identify and address potential compliance risks.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees to enhance awareness of compliance issues and requirements.
  • Investigate and respond to compliance-related concerns, including coordinating with legal counsel when necessary.
  • Lead the Compliance team, providing guidance and directions.
