Requirements:

• Proven track record of 5+ years in management and technical leadership.
• Experience in Data Engineering, Data Infrastructure, and Software Engineering disciplines as an individual contributor.
• Experience in building data applications aggregating complex data operations.
• Proficiency in working with data storage and distributed processing technologies.
• Strong familiarity with software engineering principles and best practices.
• Experienced in data modeling, database design, and SQL dialects.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Background in workflow orchestration solutions including Apache Airflow or similar.
• Excellent communication skills and strong analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Run the Data Engineering Paved Path team to design and develop reliable, scalable, secure, and user-friendly frameworks.
• Work with cross-functional data producers & consumer teams to develop data applications, tools, and frameworks.
• Deliver high-performance frameworks that support the production of central datasets.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior and senior engineers.
• Collaborate with Data Infrastructure Engineers, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers.
• Develop and maintain automation tools to streamline the deployment and management of the platform.
• Design and implement frameworks for processing data at scale.
