Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Proficiency in QA tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, QTP) and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) for test automation.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring QA teams, with strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for articulating defects and testing outcomes.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans for QA improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, processes, and best practices to ensure the highest quality standards.
• Oversee the creation of detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications.
• Supervise the execution of manual and automated tests, ensuring thorough coverage and timely defect identification.
• Manage the defect lifecycle, ensuring defects are accurately documented, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and UX designers.
• Provide detailed and accurate reports on testing activities, defects, and overall product quality.
• Identify areas for improvement in the QA process and implement best practices.
• Oversee performance and load testing to ensure software meets user loads.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies for product quality.
