Security Customer Assurance Specialist

Requirements:

• 4+ years experience in security, audits, customer assurance, control assessments, or risk assessments based on security and privacy frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI, HITRUST, and NIST 800-53.
• Experience in performing technical assessments and documentation around key controls.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage responses to customer inquiries, including RFPs and security audits.
• Perform technical assessments and document key controls and security processes.
• Liaise with customers to articulate control implementation and simplify security compliance requirements.
• Field and address requests for team support with stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively and regularly with internal teams and customers.
• Support legal teams in reviewing security contract clauses.
• Track metrics and develop reports to demonstrate work progress.
• Build and refine knowledge base information and control narratives.
• Understand security's impact in the go-to-market pipeline and report on trends.
