Security Customer Assurance Specialist

Requirements:

• 4+ years experience in security, audits, customer assurance, or risk assessments based on security and privacy frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI, HITRUST, NIST 800-53, or FedRAMP.
• Experience in performing technical assessments and documentation of key controls.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage responses to customer inquiries including RFPs and audits.
• Perform technical assessments and document key controls and security processes.
• Liaise with customers to clarify control implementation and security concepts.
• Field support requests in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Communicate regularly with internal teams and customers.
• Support legal teams in reviewing security clauses in contracts.
• Track metrics and report work status.
• Build and refine knowledge base information.
• Understand security's impact on business and report trends.
• Stay updated on industry security standards and regulations.
