Requirements:

• At least 2 years of Accounting experience, with a CPA license preferred.
• Experience working for The Big Four accounting firms is preferred.
• Positive references from past supervisors.
• High attention to detail with a perfectionist approach.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Excellent time management skills with a focus on outcomes.
• Eager to learn new skills and analyze data.
• Enjoy organizing and clarifying complex situations.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit sales tax filings by ensuring clients' sales tax data is accurate and in a compatible format.
• Monitor tax collection variances on a periodic basis and resolve issues with clients.
• Provide assistance in resolving notices from tax authorities regarding assessments and collections.
• Assist with special projects such as submitting late or amended returns and managing audits.
• Update internal documentation for more efficient filing and account management processes.
• Act as the primary contact for clients after onboarding, ensuring effective communication and project management.
