Requirements:

• Must hold an ODS Certification.
• 3+ years of experience in data abstraction in the Cancer Registry.
• 1+ year of coaching and guiding teams.
• Exposure to patient medical record systems (EMRs) and clinical databases.
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Technical savvy and eagerness to learn new systems.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
• Confidential handling of PHI.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor team productivity for abstracting, case finding, and follow-up to meet targets.
• Conduct weekly team reviews to identify performance issues and report findings.
• Understand partner expectations and ensure high satisfaction through communication.
• Take ownership of deliverables, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
• Monitor compliance for CoC accreditation.
• Champion QC technology for workflow improvement.
• Act as primary owner for new implementations and projects.
• Perform quality-related tasks as needed.
• Handle minor abstraction tasks, as required.
