Senior JavaScript Full-Stack Engineer

Requirements:

• Deep expertise in building web products with JavaScript and React.
• Background building APIs using Node.js and Express.
• Experience in relational databases such as Postgres.
• Currently proficient or having an active interest in cloud-based development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• 5+ years of experience working in a full-stack or API engineering role.
• Experience in technical leadership of an engineering team is a bonus.
• Strong foundation in programming, algorithms, and software application design.
• Passion for solving challenging problems and iterating quickly.
• Previous start-up experience is a definite plus.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain features for our client-facing web application in an AWS ECS stack.
• Work with an agile team to deliver frequent iterations, including individual and collaborative work.
• Perform and participate in PR reviews, technical discussions, and requirement elaboration activities.
• Pair, share, and mentor with other developers and stakeholders.
• Occasional production support on rotation.
• Contribute work on UI, API, and DB tiers.
