Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting or finance.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, financial planning and analysis, or data analytics.
• Strong understanding of GAAP; CPA is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel modeling; SQL/Python experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a technical aptitude for financial systems development, reporting, and automation.
• Takes ownership of initiatives with little direction and drives them to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct day-to-day accounting activities and oversee month-end close processes, adhering to accounting standards and internal controls.
• Reconcile and maintain balance sheet and general ledger accounts with precision.
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements and internal/external financial reports.
• Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support the company's strategic initiatives and decision-making processes.
• Support the development of the annual budget and ongoing forecasting processes, including variance analysis and trend identification.
• Analyze large data across disparate systems and teams to perform financial and operational analyses.
• Work cross-functionally to understand business drivers and uncover insights to support strategic decision-making across business units.
• Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.
• Prepare and present regular financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
• Assess opportunities for continual improvement across finance and accounting processes through the use of automation, technology, and artificial intelligence.
• Drive efficiencies in the monthly close and financial reporting processes.
