Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in manual software testing, including writing and executing test plans and test cases.
  • Prior experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with testing web applications and APIs.
  • Prior experience with EHR (Epic Systems, Athena, Cerner, etc), is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Experience with SQL and performing database queries to validate data integrity.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about how users will interact with the product.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute detailed manual tests on both frontend and backend components to identify and document software defects.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, clarify issues, and provide feedback on the quality of the product.
  • Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups, contributing to a seamless and efficient development process.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
  • Provide detailed reports on test findings, track issues to resolution, and validate defect fixes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the QA process, suggesting enhancements to testing tools, methodologies, and practices.
  • Ensure adherence to company quality standards and promote a culture of quality across the development teams.
