Requirements:

• 7+ years of overall software engineering experience.
• Proven ability to lead and ship complex software projects.
• Experience with complex full stack systems at scale.
• Proficient in JavaScript; experience with C++ and/or Rust is a bonus.
• Knowledge of core web technologies including HTML and DOM.
• Experience with SQL.
• Initiative to lead in a loosely structured environment.
• Good asynchronous written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver long term projects impacting multiple cross-functional and cross-platform teams.
• Technical ownership over major components of Firefox, including maintenance and architectural improvement.
• Ensure high quality, measurable, and maintainable software delivery.
• Participate in defining auto-fill web standards.
• Resolve product issues impacting users.
• Mentor junior engineers by stewarding responsibilities.
• Collaborate with teams to support existing systems and strategic goals.
