Systems Engineer I

Requirements:

• Technical Degree (BS Computer Science/Engineering) or equivalent practical experience
• Understanding of x86 server hardware architecture
• Knowledge of configuration management best-practices (Ansible, Chef)
• Comfortable in Linux or Unix operating systems
• Familiarity with IPMI/Redfish, PXE, UEFI
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Proficient in at least one programming language (Python or Go)

Responsibilities:

• Work with internal engineers to qualify new hardware and firmware
• Assist in design and validation of new hardware platforms
• Engage with hardware vendors on bug fixes/updates
• Improve processes around hardware/firmware qualification
