Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to a state bar
• 5-8+ years of experience at a major law firm or in-house legal department
• Experience working with high-growth private companies
• Outstanding communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal guidance and support on securities and corporate governance matters
• Assist in the design and implementation of an enhanced control framework in anticipation of a possible IPO
• Review, negotiate, and draft legal documents
• Work with Kin’s board of directors
• Ensure ongoing compliance with financing agreements
• Advise on legal risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Manage outside counsel and legal expenses
• Stay updated on corporate and securities law developments
