Director of Technical Accounting & Reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, and CPA required.
• 8+ years of experience in accounting including Big 4 public accounting experience.
• Extensive experience with business combinations, M&A transactions, and purchase accounting.
• Extensive knowledge of SEC Reporting, US GAAP, and internal control processes required.
• Demonstrated ability to research and interpret accounting guidance.
• Ability to work independently, manage time and resources effectively.
• Experience in technology/software sector or rapidly scaling organizations preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical resource on GAAP and SEC rules and regulations.
• Engage with business partners to identify accounting issues and complex transactions.
• Support finance and accounting team with research and guidance on technical matters.
• Follow emerging accounting issues and analyze their impact on the company.
• Manage accounting and reporting for M&A and various compliance requirements.
• Assist with preparation/review of audit schedules and financial statements.
• Manage SEC filings and prepare relevant documentation.
• Develop risk assessments and stay informed of emerging risks.
• Manage the reporting team, focusing on training and development.
