Requirements:

• 5+ years in event management or marketing, focusing on conferences, sponsorships, or high-impact events.
• Proven ability to independently lead complex, cross-functional programs with minimal guidance.
• Strong budget management skills to maximize impact while controlling costs.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with experience in influencing teams and senior stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset to interpret data and apply insights to improve event performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of Tier 1 conferences and oversee contractor-led Tier 2 events aligned with Stripe’s GTM goals.
• Define and innovate event strategies, ensuring alignment with key customer segments and GTM priorities.
• Serve as the main point of contact for cross-functional teams to align conferences with broader business goals.
• Influence stakeholders across the organization to align resources and advocate for event needs.
• Manage event budgets with data-driven insights to optimize spending.
• Define success metrics, track performance, and refine strategies.
• Build relationships with external vendors, negotiate contracts, and coordinate logistics.
• Engage with senior leadership and stakeholders to ensure alignment on event objectives.
• Conduct post-event analysis and implement learnings to improve future events.
