Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a technical supervisory role within a production environment.
  • Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems and Quality, Safety and Environmental standards.
  • Knowledge of standards/testing requirements for products.
  • Ability to make mix design adjustments for concrete performance.
  • Excellent IT skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge/use of root cause analysis tools and lean techniques is advantageous.
  • HNC level or equivalent in Manufacturing, Engineering or Building discipline is preferred.
  • Qualifications in Concrete Technology and Construction are beneficial.
  • Qualification in Health, Safety and Environmental Management is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with testing requirements on-site.
  • Enhance connection between concrete technology and new product development.
  • Analyze performance and optimize mix designs for cost-efficiency.
  • Engage with stakeholders, customers, and suppliers for support.
  • Manage time effectively to foster positive relationships with teams.
  • Deliver cost-saving initiatives and conduct material testing.
  • Build connections with production stakeholders and site operations managers.
  • Oversee product development, technical audits, and BSI certifications.
  • Champion safety, health, and quality concerns to senior management.
  • Continuously seek solutions for product quality and process optimization.
