Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of successful experience resolving liability & injury investigations.
• Strong technical understanding of liability and casualty principles.
• Experience managing complex injury claims through closure.
• Ability to build collaborative working relationships.
• Effective communication skills in a matrixed environment.
• Familiarity with claims best practices required.
• Great attention to detail and self-starter mentality.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team handling liability and bodily injury claims across the country.
• Establish and drive adherence to processes for technical claim handling.
• Identify issues in claim handling, providing viable solutions.
• Provide input for the development of claims guidelines and best practices.
• Use internal controls related to claims payments and file handling.
• Provide analysis and reporting to improve claim outcomes.
• Engage in learning opportunities to enhance knowledge of claims.
• Recruit, retain and develop a team of injury professionals.
