Senior Software Engineer - Cosmos Platform

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience in cloud-compatible development languages, specifically Go and Terraform.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL) with a preference for PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB and Redis.
• Earlier experience in platform library software engineering.
• Understanding of secure coding practices.
• Interest in or experience with public cloud capabilities.
• An interest in cybersecurity is ideal.
• A degree is nice to have but not necessary.
• Emotional intelligence and ego-less intelligence.
• Flexibility to adapt to dynamic environments.
• Ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities:

• Engineer tooling and technologies to bring scale to the Bishop Fox microservice platform.
• Integrate new tools with platform supplied services to streamline support and maintenance efforts.
• Understand and break down technical platform and product requirements to ensure clear tasks.
• Perform SME duties relating to Bishop Fox’s core service providers; AWS (Amazon Web Services), GitHub, and Azure.
