Requirements:

• Demonstrated progressive experience managing, leading and/or delivering professional services or customer success.
• Experience with a subscription-based business model, delivering on-premises and SaaS solutions.
• Experience managing cross-functional professional services teams and delivery partners.
• Advanced insight into the GitLab platform.
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Adaptability to project successes and failures.
• Experience collaborating with other managers on strategy execution.
• Proven track record in software/technology sales or consulting.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking about business, products, and technical challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Professional Services Director to establish and manage goals for Professional Services Engineers.
• Identify and own improvements to processes and tools in Professional Services.
• Provide leadership, guidance and coaching to the services team.
• Manage resource assignments and staffing, including recruitment.
• Review and approve formal statements of work and proposals.
• Lead the delivery of consulting for PS Engineers.
• Maintain knowledge of GitLab product releases and features.
• Own operational metrics and financial goals for the PS Engineering team.
• Collaborate with peers to improve efficiency in Professional Services.
• Deliver updates on key Professional Services engagements.
