5+ years of experience in compensation within a mid-sized or large organization, preferably in tech/software or professional services.
Proven experience in job evaluation design, compensation structures, and salary benchmarking.
Experience in aligning compensation/total rewards programs with business strategy.
Strong data analysis skills using HR metrics.
Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation.
Experience managing or auditing HR compliance with legislation and compensation practices.
University Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation is an asset.

Lead the redesign and implementation of job evaluation framework, ensuring compliance and consistent salary grade alignment across multiple teams and job families.
Collaborate across departments to improve operational efficiency and HR service effectiveness.
Develop HR practices that position the organization as a top employer.
Align compensation strategies with business plans and support organizational objectives.
Ensure compliance with pay equity and other applicable legislation.
Support the adoption and optimization of HR technologies to enhance service delivery.
Engage in strategic discussions aimed at fostering growth and organizational improvement.
