Requirements:
  • 8+ years software development experience, focusing on performance/scale testing.
  • Expertise in designing and developing performance tests, especially for data-intensive applications and data streams processing.
  • Hands-on experience identifying and investigating performance issues.
  • Proficiency with Cloud (AWS, Azure preferred) and Docker.
  • Experience with CI/CD Jenkins (preferred) or similar.
  • Knowledge of resource management in Linux or Windows.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Effectively communicate performance test plans and results to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Develop and Run Tests at scale and complexity to identify performance bottlenecks and uncover anomalous system behaviour.
  • Root cause performance/scalability issues and work closely with development teams to implement improvements.
  • Develop tools and frameworks for development teams to add performance tests easily, utilizing JS/TS/NodeJS, Docker, AWS, Azure, and Jenkins.
  • Integrate with continuous testing systems and performance metrics reporting.
