Requirements:
  • Advanced-level knowledge and experience with security design and implementation.
  • Experience with Firewalls/VPNs (Palo Alto required; Cisco ASA/Firepower and Fortinet a plus).
  • Experience with IDS/IPS solutions (Palo Alto required; Cisco ASA/Firepower, Fortinet, FireEye a plus).
  • Experience with Malware Prevention (Palo Alto required; Cisco ASA/Firepower, Fortinet, FireEye a plus).
  • Understanding of routing and switching architectures (CCNA desired, CCNP+ preferred).
  • Experience with Cloud Edge Security and Core Security Solutions.
  • BS in CS or EE and/or 2-4 years related experience with Next Generation Firewall design.
  • Palo Alto PCNSE 10+ strongly desired, ACE/PCNSE 6/7 considered.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP & CEH desired.
  • CCNA preferred, CCNP/CCIE Security and/or R&S a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform project-based engineering, design, installation and troubleshooting of data/security solutions.
  • Work with the engineering team to implement secure network solutions.
  • Provide security engineering consulting, including assessment, design and implementation.
  • Assist clients with planning and implementing secure data communications environments.
  • Develop design documentation and manage implementation process.
  • Perform assessments and develop documentation and reports based on best practices.
