Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Basic Sciences or Marketing or acceptable alternative with 7-9 years' work experience in the healthcare industry.
• 5-7 years medical device coding, coverage and payment experience.
• Functional experience in healthcare consulting, business development, healthcare policy, healthcare economics or medical marketing.
• CPC accreditation preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurer reimbursement methodology.
• Solid understanding of CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, HCPCS and POS coding.
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to interact with multiple departments and manage tasks efficiently.
• Excellent oral presentation and strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

• Educate, train and support the sales team on local, regional & national coding, coverage and payment issues.
• Work with customers on reimbursement challenges and respond to coding, coverage & payment questions.
• Assist in the development and delivery of presentations and reimbursement tools for internal and external customers.
• Identify and execute opportunities for favorable coding, coverage & payment decisions.
• Maintain understanding of reimbursement coverage issues through research and meetings.
• Research and analyze payer policies related to Calyxo and competitive products.
• Develop and monitor a payer database and assist in identifying payer initiatives.
• Support and participate in sales training programs.
• Attend professional society meetings and reimbursement conferences as requested.
