Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in technical writing or documentation.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent writing skills with a command of grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
• Understanding of technical concepts; able to translate complex information for non-technical audiences.
• Strong attention to detail for accuracy and completeness.
• Proficiency with documentation tools such as Google Docs, Screensteps, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of markup languages (XML, HTML, CSS).
• Experience documenting APIs and familiarity with RESTful APIs and tools like Swagger or OpenAPI.
• Understanding of UX writing principles.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and strong problem-solving skills.
• Basic project management skills and adaptability to learn new tools.
• Understanding of QA principles for documentation quality.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research by interviewing subject matter experts and testing products.
• Create concise technical documentation including how-to guides, API docs, and release notes.
• Organize documentation logically using appropriate headings and navigation aids.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers for accurate documentation.
• Maintain documentation with product updates and track changes.
• Follow style guides for consistency in documentation.
• Test documentation for clarity and usability and incorporate user feedback.
• Plan, prioritize documentation tasks and coordinate with team members.
• Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve skills.
