Requirements:

• Minimum of 10+ years in global communications with a successful track record.
• 5+ years of crisis communication expertise.
• Collaborative leadership skills with experience working with C-level executives.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
• Strong writing and editing skills for diverse audiences.
• Experience managing an external PR agency.
• Previous experience in an app or tech environment, preferably in a startup or scale-up.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive global communications strategy aligning with Flo’s business objectives.
• Craft and execute crisis communication plans to manage potential issues swiftly.
• Create proactive communication campaigns to educate users about product updates and privacy efforts.
• Cultivate relationships with key media contacts to secure favorable coverage.
• Collaborate with C-level executives to ensure communication strategies reflect organizational goals.
• Work across teams and manage external PR and SEO agencies.
• Analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies through various metrics.
• Guide social media responses in collaboration with the brand team.
