Requirements:

• 4+ years of customer facing experience in a sales engineering (pre-sales) role or relevant work experience.
• Experience selling to regulated industries like Financial Services, Insurance, and Healthcare is a plus.
• Ability to demonstrate business outcomes to a business-level audience.
• Experience with sales technology (CRMs), cloud architecture, or telephony/web conferencing systems.
• Experience with data flows, AI/ML concepts, analytics, APIs/webhooks, or JSON.
• Understanding of security and privacy regarding SaaS systems.
• Industry knowledge of technology, business services, staffing & recruiting.
• Business understanding of GTM sales teams and processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Passion for technology and problem solving.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside Sales as the ultimate product expert and account team technical advisor.
• Thoroughly understand all aspects of the Gong platform to explain and demonstrate the technology.
• Act as a trusted advisor to ensure customers achieve desired business outcomes.
• Demonstrate how Gong’s platform can meet customer needs.
• Conduct use case discovery sessions with Sales.
• Assist customers with POCs and Pilots.
• Create solution-based demos and architecture diagrams.
• Develop content for specific use cases.
• Solve complex business and technical requirements simply.
• Assist with RFPs and questionnaires.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Contribute reusable assets to the Sales Engineering team.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Management, and Engineering to share feedback on product roadmap.
