Requirements:
  • Experience with cost of care or clinical outcomes target setting in payer, integrated healthcare systems, or value-based care organizations.
  • Developed financial models and forecasts in Excel related to provider networks and clinical interventions.
  • Understanding of financial and clinical metrics in healthcare with knowledge of industry standards for data presentation.
  • Familiarity with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, Qliksense.
  • Proficient in SQL or coding to pull and transform large healthcare claims data.
  • Strong coding practices, data hygiene, and documentation standards.
  • Quantitative background with training in Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, or Econometrics.
  • Experience working cross-functionally to establish reporting and measurement definitions.
  • Ability to build rapport with data teams and downstream consumers.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive the development and maintenance of financial models that enhance Thyme Care’s financial performance.
  • Collaborate with department leads to identify measurement gaps for key performance indicators.
  • Create strategies for tracking operational outcomes and adopt new measures by stakeholders.
  • Execute analyses to quantify financial and risk trade-offs in value-based arrangements.
  • Standardize measurement definitions and best practices in analytic reporting across the organization.
  • Support annual financial reconciliations of value-based contracts in coordination with internal data resources.
  • Oversee the reporting of Thyme Care’s savings forecasts and analyze underperformance for executive insights.
