Senior Contracts and Grants Specialist

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 9 years of work experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• At least 7 years of progressively complex and full-cycle contracts experience.
• Substantial knowledge of federal rules and regulations including Uniform Guidance, FAR, AIDAR, and FTR.
• International experience and familiarity with major donors such as USAID and the United Nations.
• Experience in negotiating various contractual instruments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership in administering a diverse post-award contracts and grants portfolio.
• Respond promptly to internal and external customer requests.
• Prepare and negotiate contracts, grants, NDAs, and related agreements.
• Lead pre-award compliance risk reviews and preparation of business proposals.
• Engage in pre-award subcontracting, providing compliance guidance.
• Review cost narratives and design pricing strategies per client requirements.
• Develop and implement compliant business systems and processes.
• Cultivate relationships with senior contracts officials of major customers.
• Stay informed of research activities and industry trends.
