Director, Clinical Project Management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a science or health-related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in clinical research, including extensive project management and line management experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities:

• Direct, manage, and ensure collaboration within a team of Project Directors and Project Managers in project planning, execution, and governance globally.
• Provide leadership and oversight on all clinical programs and manage activities in certain cases.
• Act as the primary point of escalation for study sponsors beyond project management.
• Optimize profitability of the Project Management organization to meet budget targets.
• Manage resource allocations to meet cost, time, and quality goals.
• Select, train, and evaluate Project Directors and Managers while providing technical support.
• Identify and escalate any project scope, resource, schedule, or budget impacts.
• Ensure project teams maintain high quality standards and compliance.
• Collaborate in Business Development for proposals, budgeting, and bid defense.
• Manage project/program inter-dependencies for milestone achievement.
• Implement project evaluations and necessary changes for at-risk projects.
• Report KPIs and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
