  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
  • 4+ years of experience as a database developer on software projects.
  • Proficient in programming languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell, CloudFormation.
  • Active Security+ certification.
  • Experience with Aurora RDS technologies.
  • Experience in a federal government agency environment preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, deploy, secure, and work with AWS Aurora, MySQL, RDS, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and Redshift databases.
  • Automate system deployments and integrations with AWS Cloud Formation.
  • Secure database environments according to NIST and DHA standards, including encryption of data.
  • Conduct training and presentations on I.T. applications and government policies.
  • Synthesize and evaluate information to aid leadership decision-making.
