Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, particularly with cross-border and ecommerce businesses.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare and process monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
• Handle all aspects of cross-border financial transactions and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Monitor and reconcile sales transactions from ecommerce platforms like Amazon and Shopify.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards in Canada and the U.S.
