Requirements:

• Track record as a software engineer leading high-performing teams or projects, preferably in SaaS.
• Significant experience in distributed systems design, especially in microservices environments.
• Proven capability in developing backend applications and APIs with hands-on expertise in Go, Python, and React.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases and database modeling.
• Familiarity with AWS services for application development.
• Experience building modular, flexible architectures that support evolving product strategies.
• Familiarity with React component design, state management, and testing.
• History of adopting new technology to improve engineering outcomes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in building products in high growth, early stage tech environments.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Research, design, and deploy new technical solutions for various projects.
• Architect, build, and maintain REST APIs for both external and internal customers.
• Help architect and improve onboarding tools.
• Collaborate closely within a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality products.
• Take ownership of solutions and explore bold ideas to achieve outstanding results.
• Provide feedback to enhance team processes.
