Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in packaging engineering or a related role is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in packaging design software and familiarity with packaging materials and testing methods.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct cost and performance analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in documentation and reporting.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with packaging component qualifications.
  • Participate in Process Mapping and Process Improvement initiatives.
  • Review artwork from a Quality perspective and ensure compliance from development to printing.
  • Conduct material selection, testing, and validation for packaging compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet packaging requirements.
  • Support implementation of packaging improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to packaging specifications and testing results.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve packaging-related production issues.
  • Execute packaging trials and pilot runs for new designs.
  • Create and optimize packaging designs for protection, presentation, and sustainability.
