Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or greater in STEM field, Anthropology, Archaeology, Maritime Archaeology, or related fields.
  • 7 years relevant experience, with 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Understanding of the Cultural Resource Management (CRM) industry.
  • Knowledge of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and NEPA.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage projects timely and cost-effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills and team culture development.
  • Ability to hold archaeological survey permits in Oregon and California preferred.
  • Meeting the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards and Guidelines for Archaeology and Historic Preservation is preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the single point for clients regarding project issues.
  • Prepare project proposals, cost estimates, and project schedules.
  • Understand project regulatory and contract requirements.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients.
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and conduct change management.
  • Coordinate with accounting and logistics for project management.
  • Ensure high-level quality control and peer review.
  • Develop Health & Safety plans in compliance with contract requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with project teams and clients.
  • Train and mentor staff and communicate project developments.
