Requirements:

• 5-10 years of underwriting experience in management liability, specifically with Non-Profit accounts.
• A network of brokers, carriers, underwriters, or clients in the management or professional liability insurance market.
• Expertise in specialty liability products, including rating procedures and policy forms.
• Ability to engage successfully with brokers for long-term partnerships.
• Confidence in presenting to key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in sales and account management.
• Proven track record of achieving targets.
• Enthusiasm for challenges in a high-velocity environment.
• Flexibility for travel, minimum once per month.
• College degree with relevant work experience of 4+ years.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve and exceed underwriting performance and revenue goals.
• Price accounts quickly and thoughtfully in accordance with guidelines.
• Manage quote related communication and questions.
• Collaborate on understanding exposures of complex accounts, focusing on Non-Profit underwriting.
• Provide market feedback and recommend improvements to terms, rates, and guidelines.
• Bind accounts through engaging with assigned brokers.
• Represent Counterpart at broker meetings and industry events.
• Contribute feedback on tools and services as a key stakeholder of the product roadmap.
