Product & Privacy Counsel

Requirements:

• JD Degree from an accredited law school and a license to practice law in at least one state bar.
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience in healthcare/healthtech, product and/or privacy.
• Strong foundation in product counseling, privacy, security laws, and technology transactions.
• Ability to quickly learn new areas of law and legal skills.
• Deep understanding of product and data privacy issues.
• Keen business and legal judgment and self-starter attitude.
• Interest in privacy and regulatory considerations in healthcare and payments.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end product counseling, including initial product development stages.
• Provide legal advice on consumer regulatory, privacy and security laws, marketing, and technology transactions.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to identify legal risks and offer risk-mitigation counseling.
• Develop processes to enhance product counseling.
• Assist with platform integration with customer and vendor systems.
• Review marketing communications and draft/update form agreements.
• Provide general legal support across various business areas.
• Work with vendors and customers to assess privacy and data protection risks.
