Requirements:

• Passion for hunger relief and food recovery.
• Strong project management skills with knowledge of logistics and transportation operations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven.
• Self-starter comfortable in a remote work environment.
• Proficient in spreadsheets, email communication, and process optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree (encouraged), 2+ years of experience in food recovery or logistics (bonus), experience with Salesforce (bonus), and background in nonprofits or event planning (bonus).

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate logistics for food recovery operations, including scheduling pickups and organizing transportation.
• Identify and establish relationships with food donors such as grocery stores and farms.
• Enter and manage transportation data in Salesforce.
• Manage communications to coordinate transport and address partner needs.
• Cultivate relationships with transportation providers, donors, and recipient agencies.
• Assist Marketing and Development teams with stakeholder engagement and testimonials.
• Record data in Salesforce and Google Workspace tools and generate reports on food recovery activities.
• Analyze data to improve the recovery process.
• Support organizational tasks and represent Move For Hunger at events as needed.
