Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Six years of sales experience in account management, business development, or client relationship experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills to provide resolutions.
  • Professionalism and leadership in complex situations.
  • Ability to navigate through organizational complexities with multiple stakeholders.
  • Discretion and good judgment in customer and team interactions.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including delivering presentations.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen or ability to learn it.
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain appropriate state insurance license within six months of employment.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Possess a clean DMV record.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies that drive revenue growth and increase client and/or broker base.
  • Retain and grow existing client and/or broker base with responsibilities differing for Client Manager and Business Development Manager roles.
  • Formulate and implement customized business solutions for customers through strategic consultation.
  • Analyze data to identify and secure renewal and/or upsell opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to attain quota, focusing on account retention and long-term viability.
  • Educate customers on available products and programs, delivering presentations to groups of 25 or more.
  • Identify territory trends, competition, and customer behavior to maximize revenue and growth potential.
  • Drive cross collaboration within Vision Care SBU’s and with other lines of business.
