• Expert knowledge of machine learning techniques.
• Experience building algorithms for dynamic human settings.
• Experience in auctions and price theory.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python.
• Good knowledge of probability and statistics, including experimental design.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and communicate with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities:

• Initiate and drive applied science initiatives to completion, with a focus on business impact.
• Architect and deploy machine learning systems and algorithms in production.
• Design and execute experiments, collecting and analyzing data.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and economists on statistical practices.
• Maintain a balance between execution speed and scientific rigor.
• Provide technical mentorship to other applied scientists.
