Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years experience working with MIS (Sims, FMS and Arbor) solutions in a school or support team.
  • Experience in delivering training courses.
  • Good understanding of MIS and IT support issues.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience providing support, advice, and training in the use of MIS systems.
  • Knowledge of schools procedures, working practices, and statutory requirements.
  • Relevant experience in the education sector preferred.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally to different audiences.
  • Ability to prepare and run effective training courses.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing solutions.
  • Ability to identify problems and implement solutions.
  • Ability to respond to changing needs in the education environment.
  • Ability to write clear, concise instructions/training manuals.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide telephone, remote and onsite support across the entire range of supported MIS software modules.
  • Complete relevant documentation and service desk calls in accordance with the MIS SLA.
  • Be responsible for the support of the MIS Systems.
  • Upgrade and install ESS software, implementing and coordinating new systems.
  • Maintain expertise with current and emerging MIS products.
  • Create and update training materials for supported MIS software.
  • Deliver high-standard training courses monitored by evaluations.
  • Promote effective MIS use to enhance school standards and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Support the team in delivering training courses and webinars.
