Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • 2+ years in healthcare sales, preferably in a physician sales/services environment or 2+ years experience as a genetic counselor.
  • Possess keen technical aptitude and ability to promote multiple service offerings.
  • Demonstrate professional demeanor and communication.
  • Maintain a history of integrity and professional ethics.
  • Work as a team player for quality patient care.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations and work independently while managing time and territory activities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities:
  • Introduces and secures new business, and increases existing business for GeneDx.
  • Partners with all call points in the assigned territory through consultative selling, education, and account management.
  • Accountable for lead generation and satisfaction of physicians and genetic counselors with GeneDx programs and services.
  • Coordinates with operations for consistent follow-up and issue resolutions.
  • Implements sales and marketing plans and supports development events.
  • Prospects new physicians and genetic counselors using a development pipeline.
  • Promotes GeneDx services by determining customer needs and making appropriate recommendations.
  • Conducts in-person and virtual client meetings, with an expectation of 4.5 field days per week.
