Requirements:

• Law degree from a nationally accredited U.S. law school preferred.
• 7-10 years' work experience in U.S. commercial loan origination.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state commercial lending laws.
• Working knowledge of real property recording systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong legal research skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and resourceful, with strong follow-through skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all legal and regulatory aspects of the loan origination process.
• Liaise with internal departments and external parties regarding loan applications.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Provide legal advice, prepare and negotiate loan and supporting documents.
• Review title reports, manage deadlines, and develop policies and procedures.
• Conduct post-closing reviews and address non-performing loans.
• Prepare closing document packages and conduct pre-funding reviews.
• Coordinate documentation for loan setup post funding.
