Senior QA Automation Engineer

Requirements:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, and Python.
• Experience with front-end frameworks like React and Angular and Node.js.
• Experience with libraries such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium WebDriver.
• Knowledge of AWS services including S3 and EC2.
• Familiarity with RDBMS (Postgres, MongoDB Atlas) and SQL queries.
• Strong understanding of API contract testing.
• Good understanding of Linux and CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience with DevOps and orchestration tools like Terraform & Terragrunt is a plus.
• Ability to work embedded with teams to identify technical needs.
• Proven ownership and autonomy in driving quality initiatives.
• Strong verbal and written English skills.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Staff QA Engineer and contribute to the central test framework.
• Ideate tech innovations within the team.
• Build automated tests for internal tooling and initial core test suites.
• Support and maintain test architecture based on team needs.
• Define tooling and solutions for best practices in QA automation.
• Contribute to the overall Fortis QA advanced test strategy.
