Requirements:

Responsibilities:
  • Configure and manage Azure resources, including ExpressRoute, Virtual Networks, and Route Tables.
  • Monitor system performance, uptime, and health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Implement security controls with Azure Security Center, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and Azure Firewall to meet compliance standards.
  • Perform system administration for Linux and Windows Server environments, including patching and updates.
  • Set up and validate backup and recovery processes using Azure Backup.
  • Optimize resource usage and costs using Azure Cost Management and auto-scaling tools.
  • Document configurations, troubleshoot issues, and escalate unresolved concerns with Azure support as needed.
  • Collaborate with NARA staff and other stakeholders to resolve incidents and continuously improve system performance.
  • Stay informed on Azure updates and best practices to ensure platform reliability and efficiency.
