• Able to resolve complex problems and develop solutions.
• Determines the best approach to achieve results and suggests improvements.
• Demonstrates good judgement in decision making.
• Receives little instruction on day-to-day work.

Responsibilities:

• Underwrite the entire spectrum of lending products in a timely manner.
• Facilitate the booking of new loans and ensure customer understanding.
• Manage the underwriting process through to closing.
• Review and analyze deal packages, conduct initial interviews with prospects.
• Order and review due diligence and documentation.
• Visit prospect locations for transactions over a predetermined amount.
• Mentor and train analysts and less experienced business development representatives.
