Requirements:

• Minimum 7-10 years in IT & Cybersecurity.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally within a SaaS or tech company.
• Proficient in modern security architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Expert in privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and industry standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Experience managing vulnerability assessments and incident response.
• Proven ability to build, mentor, and lead security teams.
• Experience working cross-functionally with different teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive security strategy aligned with Later’s goals.
• Lead cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance efforts (GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Oversee risk assessments, vulnerability audits, and disaster recovery processes.
• Collaborate with teams to address customer security needs.
• Build and mentor a high-performing security team.
• Oversee security operations including threat monitoring and infrastructure improvements.
• Define and develop the Security Incident Management process.
• Ensure IT infrastructure management and business continuity.
