Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Methods, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.
• At least 1 year of previous patent examining or searching experience.
• At least 1 year of experience developing search methodology using databases such as ProQuest Dialog and IP.com.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or work-eligible legal resident with at least two years of continuous U.S. residency.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Accept projects with defined due dates on a weekly basis.
• Read disclosures to understand technical nuances that may distinguish them from prior art.
• Perform comprehensive searches for relevant prior art and provide a complete search history.
• Prepare written opinions applying the most relevant prior art to the disclosures.
• Maintain proficiency with patent searching databases and stay updated on best practices.
