Requirements:

• Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
• In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks.
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
• Degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a relevant field.
• Certification as IT Technician (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) is an advantage.
• Proven experience in a network administrator role.
• Training in Juniper, Cisco, CWNA or BCNE.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.

Responsibilities:

• Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices.
• Install and configure software according to specifications.
• Develop and maintain local networks to optimize performance.
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve technical problems.
• Maintain records of repairs and maintenance schedules.
• Support, configure, maintain, and upgrade client's networks and servers.
• Support and administer third-party applications.
• Monitor network performance and test for weaknesses.
• Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
• Resolve end user issues and specify system requirements.
