• 4+ years of people management experience leading a team of 5 or more.
• Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders in a large organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Passion for high-quality code and effective software engineering processes.
• Willingness to be hands-on as needed with code and technical documents.

Responsibilities:

• Build and manage engineering teams to develop security platform capabilities.
• Provide technical structure to teams and define strategic roadmaps with management.
• Manage projects, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Implement multi-year strategy for security platform engineering.
• Coach direct reports to impact the organization positively.
• Collaborate with others to create tangible roadmaps every quarter.
• Drive engineering quality and meet SLAs.
• Source and hire engineers who fit the Coinbase culture.
